Bail Increased In Alonso Perez Case

A judge in North Las Vegas set bail at $1.62 million for a Nevada homicide suspect who was re-arrested four days after authorities say he broke a set of handcuffs and escaped from a police office.

That brought the total bail for Alonso Perez to more than $1.7 million in cases in two cities.

Perez appeared by video on Thursday from the Clark County jail, where he's also being held on criminal charges in a Las Vegas shooting case.
