LAS VEGAS (AP) — A political group is using Pokemon to get young people to the polls.
NextGen Climate Nevada is hosting a meet-up event Thursday evening that centers on the wildly popular Pokémon Go app. The group hopes to attract millennial voters to Paradise Park in Las Vegas by planting lures, which are virtual tags that release rare Pokémon at a certain time and place.
Players trying to catch 'em all in the park will find a "Poké Stop" stocked with refreshments and people who can help them register to vote.
