Results of a survey commissioned by SolarCity suggest Nevadans support rooftop solar and efforts to undo rate changes for solar customers.
The Las Vegas Sun reports the Solar-City-backed group Bring Back Solar has spent almost $2 million on attempts to put the reversal of a Public Utilities Commission bill increase on the ballot.
A majority of 600 Nevada residents surveyed last month were found to have a positive view of the rooftop-solar industry. These responses were not found to be dependent on political party affiliation or solar panel ownership.
