Angie Morelli is a Las Vegas business owner and a former Marine.

She is also a former Republican who served in Afghanistan.

Now she supports Democratic presidential candidate Bernie Sanders. And she has been chosen to ask a question at the nationally televised Town Hall meeting Thursday night in Las Vegas.

Morelli talked with KNPR’s State of Nevada about how she was chosen and a bit about the veteran-based question she wants to ask the candidates.
