Office Space In Reno Aims To Attract Polish Entrepreneurs

RENO, Nev. (AP) — Polish start-ups hoping to break into the U.S. market will now have a place to do it in Reno.

Gov. Brian Sandoval and Polish officials based in Nevada held a ribbon-cutting ceremony Thursday for the Poland-Nevada Acceleration Space.

The space is located at the University of Nevada, Reno's Innevation Center, a business "incubator" where start-ups can rent an office area and share resources such as conference rooms with other entrepreneurs.

The collaboration comes after Sandoval and a delegation of Nevada officials visited Poland during a summertime trade mission to five European countries.

Sandoval said he was impressed by the entrepreneurial spirit he saw among the Polish people, and hopes Nevada and Polish entrepreneurs can forge stronger ties through the shared space.
