'Absinthe' Performer Takes On 'American Ninja Warrior'

Las Vegas Strip performer Almas Meirmanov will be on the popular show "American Ninja Warrior"

Absinthe is a live Las Vegas Strip variety show that premiered in 2006.  It includes humor, acrobatics and quirky characters.

American Ninja Warrior is an obstacle course competition inspired by the original Japanese strength and agility contest television program.  It boasts about 6 million viewers each season.

What do the two have in common?

One of the original cast members of Absinthe is competing in this season's American Ninja Warrior finals.

High wire performer and Intermix Fitness owner Almas Meirmanov will represent the Strip on the next American Ninja Warrior program in Las Vegas. It airs Monday, July 13th on NBC stations, including  KSNV-TV, at 5PM PST.
