The IRS is considering lowering the figure for tax-reportable winnings, from slot machines. Meanwhile, casinos are filing more suspicious activity reports, and Global Gaming Expo will have a new look this year.

And, Las Vegas lost one of its most successful casino owners and developers with the death of Kirk Kerkorian.
