Nevada Regulators Expected To Approve Ride-Sharing Rule

Nevada is moving closer to allowing ride-sharing apps to operate in the state.

Uber and Lyft are inching ever closer to finally operating in Nevada.

That’s because Nevada transportation regulators are preparing to adopt fast-track rules to allow ride-sharing companies to operate in Las Vegas and Reno alongside taxi cabs.

The Nevada Transporation Authority will meet Thursday to vote on emergency regulations for ride-sharing companies.

If approved, these companies will begin submitting applications to operate in the state on Monday.

While, Nevada regulators are embracing ride-sharing, Uber is facing a serious challenge to how they do business in California.
