A 10,000-acre wildfire burning in the San Bernardino National Forest is now the largest blaze on California forestland this year. According to the Los Angeles Times, officials say the Lake fire quickly grew yesterday from 1,500 acres to 7,500 acres because of dry, windy conditions. By 7 p.m., the fire had spread to 10,000 acres, making it the largest blaze this year in the state’s national forests.
