Woman Pleads Guilty To Stealing From CCSD

A former Clark County School District official today pleaded guilty to charges she stole tens of thousands of dollars from the school district. 

Priscilla Rocha, 67, the former director of the district’s Adult English Language Acquisition Services program, pleaded guilty to theft and unlawful use of public money, both felonies.

She was originally charged with 52 felony counts covering $289,000, but that was modified to two counts involving $132,000.

A restitution hearing was set for June 16. A sentencing hearing was set for June 30.  Rocha faces probation or 1 to 14 years in prison.
