Wet 'n' Wild Can Apply For Liquor License

The Clark County Zoning Commission today unanimously approved Wet 'n' Wild's request for a conditional use permit allowing them to apply for a liquor license. The water park wants to sell beer and wine.

They plan on a two drink per person limit, with alcohol sold only in one small area of the park. Alcohol would not be sold on days the nearby school is open.

Some area residents are unhappy with the plan, saying the park was supposed to be a place for families.
