Activists Protest At NV Attorney General's Office

More than a hundred immigration and progressive activists are protesting outside of Attorney General Adam Laxalt's office demanding he remove Nevada from a lawsuit blocking a halt to deportations of some immigrants.

Members of the Las Vegas Culinary Union and the Progressive Leadership Alliance of Nevada led the charge Wednesday, holding signs, shouting through bullhorns to deport Laxalt and blocked traffic in front of the Republican Attorney General's office.

Laxalt joined Nevada to a coalition of states filing a lawsuit against President Barack Obama's executive order halting deportations in December and testified in favor of the bill before a House committee in February.
