Nevada Boy Scout Honored For Popcorn Sales

Are you ready to binge watch your favorite show?  To make sure you have enough popcorn, you might want to contact a boy scout from Carson City.

Luke Bowler was recognized for selling more than $6,000 in popcorn sales in 2014. It was actually a slow year for Bowler. In a previous year, he was the fifth biggest popcorn seller nationally and first in Northern Nevada Council with sales of more than $17,000.

This is a family tradition. Luke's father, Dan Bowler was scouting in Saudi Arabia and says the Boy Scouts of America experience has a lot to do with who he is right now.

Luke also has an older brother, Nick Bowler, who has been the top popcorn seller twice in Northern Nevada Council. Together the brothers have had more than $80,000 in popcorn sales in the past six years.
