New Musical Parody Takes On "Fifty Shades Of Grey"

Trashy romance stories have been around since the days of Greek theater and humanity’s thirst for erotic fiction is centuries old.

Then came “Fifty Shades of Grey,” a book that led to two sequels that have sold more than 100 million copies and been translated into more than 50 languages.

Anything that popular has to spawn a parody, and so it has.

After sell-out shows in New York and Chicago, “Fifty Shades! The Musical Parody” comes to Bally’s on February 3, more than a week before the movie, “Fifty Shades of Grey,” hits the theaters.

Sabrina Sia, Zipporah Peddle, Chelsea Phillips-Reid and Chris Hodgson are members of the cast.

They say the show is "all in good fun" and those who enjoyed the book won't be disappointed.

The actors say that although they point out some of the more ridiculous sides of the book, they stay focused on the idea that people love the characters.
