Bowling Tourney Stays In Reno

The U.S. Bowling Congress has finalized a deal that will keep a series of national tournaments in Reno over the next 11 years.

The Reno Gazette-Journal reports  that the Bowling Congress approved revisions Monday to its long-term contract with the Reno-Sparks Convention & Visitors Authority that raises the per-bowler fee paid by the RSCVA from $20 to $30 for events beginning next year.

The four-month-long tournaments bring thousands of bowlers and millions of dollars to the area.
