Police have released security camera images and a description of a man sought in the slaying of a woman behind a bar and restaurant during the weekend east of downtown Las Vegas.
Lt. Ken Romaine tells the Las Vegas Sun the woman was fatally injured a little before 6 a.m. Saturday in an area behind a strip mall on Nellis Boulevard near Desert Inn Road.
Investigators think the woman was approached and attacked near Hammerheads Bar & Grill East by a man they're describing as white or Hispanic, about 6 feet and 200 pounds.
