World Series of Poker organizers say the 49-day tournament returns to the Rio All-Suite Hotel & Casino in Las Vegas May 27 to July 14.
Organizers announced the dates Tuesday and a new event dubbed the Colossus.
Organizers say the new no-limit Texas Hold 'Em event will have a $565 buy-in and $5 million prize pool with organizers expecting more than 13,000 entries.
The $10,000 buy-in Main Event that attracts several thousand players battling for a one in nine chance to win $10 million is July 5 to July 14. The final nine players return in November to vie for the top prize.
More than 82,000 people entered the 2014 World Series of Poker's 65 events last year, resulting in more than $227 million in prizes.
