Bus Security Guard Shoots Man Dead On Las Vegas Strip

Authorities closed part of the Las Vegas Strip to traffic after a deadly confrontation between a bus passenger and a security guard.

Police say the incident happened a little before 2 a.m. Monday on the 3600 block of South Las Vegas Boulevard, in the heart of the tourist district.

Investigators say a security officer contracted by the Regional Transportation Commission had a passenger get off the bus due to a disturbance.
