Should Uber Roll In Nevada?

Uber, the technology company that says it, "connects riders with drivers," is currently struggling for a foothold in Nevada. When the company launched operations in Las Vegas and Reno last month, authorities immediately pounced, fining drivers and impounding their vehicles.

Then Uber was in a legal fightwith the Nevada Attorney General, who is representing the Taxicab Authority. At stake is whether the company can legally operate outside the laws that govern taxis and limo services in Nevada.

Should Nevada allow Uber and other ride-sharing companies to operate under different laws and standards?
