Laxalt Claims Nevada AG Race

Nevada's new Attorney General is Adam Laxalt, completing a Republican sweep of all six statewide offices up for grabs Tuesday.  The results aren't official yet, but Laxalt said Wednesday that Democrat Ross Miller conceded in what was a nasty and very expensive contest. Laxalt, the grandson of former U.S. Sen. and Gov Paul Laxalt, said Miller, the son of former Gov. Bob Miller, was a "class act and true gentleman" when they spoke on the phone late Tuesday. He says they have pledged to heal their divisions. Laxalt was leading Wednesday by fewer than 5,000 votes.
