I-15 Section Hit By Flooding Back To Normal

The section of Interstate 15 north of Las Vegas and just south of Mesquite is ready for traffic again after suffering damage during a late-September flash flood.

The Nevada Department of Transportation announced Wednesday that repairs to the road finished two days early and all lanes would be open by the afternoon.

Traffic on the portion of road about 75 miles north of Las Vegas and just south of Mesquite has been limited to one lane each way since repairs started Sept. 30.
