Man Who Kicked Squirrel Into Grand Canyon Sought

Authorities at Grand Canyon National Park say they've had no luck in their search for a man who kicked a squirrel over the edge of the canyon. A video posted online in July shows a shirtless man  wearing a straw cowboy hat luring the squirrel to the canyon's edge with food before kicking it into the air. The video went viral.

Grand Canyon NP Chief Ranger Bill Wright said Monday that none of the dozens of tips from people claiming to know the man have panned out. The Virginia man who filmed the incident says he doesn't know the man either. Wright says the case will remain open pending further information.

An animal rights group has offered a trip to the Grand Canyon and $15,000 for information leading to an arrest and conviction.
