Fortune Teller Takes Money In Sparks

Sparks police are investigating a scam involving fortune telling. Police say a woman knocked on the door of a home and told the resident she was a fortune teller. She offered to read the victim's palm and then persuaded the victim to give her several hundred dollars with a promise she'd return with three times that amount. Police say the woman hasn't been seen since. She's described as a Hispanic woman between the ages of 25 and 35, about 5-foot-8 and 250 pounds.
