North Las Vegas is closing one of its three municipal library branches ahead of a plan to open another branch at a yet-to-be announced site. A city spokesman says the library on Civic Center Drive will close at 6 p.m. Sept. 19. The outside book depository at the site, near the old city hall, will also be closed. Officials plan to announce a new library location next month.
Due dates are being extended for materials from the Civic Center branch. Returns can be made to the North Las Vegas branch library on Alexander Road or to any Las Vegas-Clark County Library location.
