Start where Nancy Houssels spoke to Desert Companion for our August feature, “ We just had to ask.” Then rewind some three decades to when she helped found the dance company that would eventually become Nevada Ballet Theater. And keep going – back to the early '60s, when she was a dancer herself in the Folies Bergere, where she met her husband, Kell Houssels. And then go just a little further, to when she was Nancy Claire, part of the dance duo Szony and Claire that performed around the world.
