Third Disappearance Reported On Lake Mead

There has been a third disappearance on Lake Mead in as many days.

Park rangers are now searching for a man who went missing while swimming north of Callville Bay Marina.  The man jumped from a houseboat to swim to shore with a group of people just before noon Tuesday. He has not been seen since. 

This is now the third active search going on at the Lake Mead National Recreation Area. Rangers and Metro Police are looking for a 53-year-old Las Vegas man who was reported missing just before noon Sunday -- and a 25-year-old Las Vegas man who disappeared Sunday near the Boulder Islands on Lake Mead.
