Nevada Home Prices Still Climbing

Southern Nevada home prices continued to climb in June. The Greater Las Vegas Association of Realtors reported the median home price in June was just short of $200,000. That's up 14 percent from what it was a year ago, but still well below its June 2006 peak of $315,000.

Association representatives say they are encouraged to see more traditional buyers enter into the market, as opposed to investors paying in cash. Less than 35 percent of home buyers are paying in all cash now, which is the lowest it's been since July 2009.
