The groups behind a Major League Soccer stadium proposed for downtown Las Vegas have scheduled two public meetings ahead of a City Council vote. The meetings, hosted by Cordish Companies and Findlay Sports, will be August 4 in the Doolittle Community Center and August 7 in the City Council chambers. It’s expected that financing will be discussed.
In May, the two groups revealed plans for a 24,000-seat stadium to be situated next to Symphony Park in downtown. So far, no team is in place.
