Three local pastors recently returned to Las Vegas from a naval base in Oxnard, California, where hundreds of migrant children are being held pending immigration proceedings. The children are part of a wave that has come from Central America.
Pastor Joel Manchaca of Amistad Cristiana Church went to California and is now organizing a drive to bring needed supplies to children and families. Pastor Manchaca will tell us about what he saw at the base, and how he thinks the Las Vegas community can help.
