Lake Mead Water Levels At Historic Lows

Not since the creation of the Hoover Dam has Lake Mead seen water levels this low. U.S. Bureau of Reclamation officials said the water level at the lake will drop to about 1,080 feet above sea level by November. The lake is currently about 39 percent full. Bureau officials also said cities and states depending on that water will still receive their allocated amounts up through next year.
