North Las Vegas police say a woman who was living in "deplorable" conditions with more than 100 cats has been issued one citation and could possibly face more as the investigation progresses. Animal control officers issued a misdemeanor animal cruelty citation to the 47-year-old owner after removing 112 cats and one dog from the home on Thursday.
The animals were taken to a shelter for evaluation. City officials declared the house uninhabitable after the operation.
