San Diego Police still haven't released much information in the case of a Las Vegas boy scout found dead from a gunshot wound. Authorities report the unidentified 12-year-old was found dead in his tent early Monday morning. It has been reported that a call to police claimed the boy suffered from a self-inflicted shot to the head. Authorities are still investigating whether or not this was a suicide or accident.
The boy was part of a troupe of about 20 scouts camping at Fiesta Island near San Diego. The Boy Scouts of America do not permit firearms at scout events.
