Thunder From Down Under Scuffle Gets New Trial Date

The man accused of firing a gun during a scuffle with members of the Thunder From Down Under male revue at the Excalibur has a new trial date: September 2. Joey Kadmiri’s first trial ended last week after two days when District Court Judge Jerome Tao declared a mistrial after jurors admitted they’d been talking about the case.  Kadmiri faces more than a dozen charges after the March 17 incident in the revue dressing room, including felony attempted murder and armed robbery.
