New Device Helps Travelers Skip Airport Lines

A new technology is coming to McCarran International Airport that is being touted as a way to bring more security to travel as well as faster lines.

Starting this summer travelers will be able to purchase a biometric card. It will contain personal biometric information. A user can take this card to the security line and combined with a finger print scan or an iris scan and get through the line in five minutes.

The Clark County commission approved the lease for AlClear, LLC to begin offering the services later this summer. The service is already available in nine other airports across the country.
