FBI Rescues Trafficked Sex Slaves

Collaborations between the FBI and local law enforcement rescued 168 victims of child sex trafficking in the past week. Seven of those children were rescued in southern Nevada. It was done in the annual national enforcement push known as Operation Cross Country. The operation also led to the arrest of two pimps in Las Vegas.

Denver had the most children rescued - 18 along with 11 pimps arrested. In the eight years of this operation almost 3600 kids have been recovered from the streets. FBI leaders say there is a growing prevalence of children being prostituted online and most of the kids are not foreign-born, they're Americans.
