A new set of scientific studies paints a picture of intensifying wildfires. The journal Geophysical Research Letters published three different studies and reports warning that wildfires are getting bigger, man-made climate change is to blame, and things will get worse starting this year. The reports show the area burned by the West's largest wildfires have increased by almost 87,000 acres a year since 1984.
