Vegas Players Have A Shot In The NFL

Even though no Las Vegas football players were drafted this past weekend, two players will have a chance to play in the pros. The Las Vegas Sun reports that UNLV running back Tim Cornett signed an undrafted free agent deal with the Arizona Cardinals. And Bishop Gorman grad Xavier Grimble, who played for USC, signed a similar deal with the New York Giants. The Sun reports that a record 16 players from the Mountain West Conference were picked during this year's draft.
