Poll: Americans Against Online Gambling

Americans are solidly opposed to online gambling, according to a new poll. The Fairleigh Dickinson University PublicMind poll finds that just 27 percent support legalizing Internet gambling in the 47 states that don’t allow it. 65 percent of respondents were not closely following news about Internet gambling, though.

Only New Jersey, Nevada and Delaware currently allow Internet gambling, but at least 10 other states are, or recently considered, legalizing it.

Support comes from

You won’t find a paywall here. Come as often as you like — we’re not counting. You’ve found a like-minded tribe that cherishes what a free press stands for.  If you can spend another couple of minutes making a pledge of as little as $5, you’ll feel like a superhero defending democracy for less than the cost of a month of Netflix.
