Change Coming To The Fountainebleau

There's another change coming to the north end of the Strip. The Las Vegas Review Journal reports that workers have begun taking down the massive crane on top of the unfinished Fontainebleau. Billionaire Carl Icahn purchased the three-billion dollar project for 150-million dollars in 2010. But, years have passed and the future of the structure has remained a secret.

Icahn says he would wait to decide on the future of the 38-hundred room hotel until the Strip showed signs of recovery. The north end of the strip is coming back with the soon to open SLS and the future Genting property on the old Echelon lot.
