Clark County Receives 206 Proposals For Medical Marijuana Businesses

Clark County received 206 applications to operate medical marijuana dispensaries. The county released the figures Tuesday, which was the deadline for applying for a business license to operate a medical marijuana business.

According to state law, up to 10 dispensaries are allowed to locate within unincorporated Clark County. The county was the first jurisdiction to accept applications.

Ninety of the applications are for dispensaries, 70 are for cultivation facilities, 45 are for production facilities, and one is for a laboratory to test the products.
