John Boyd, a New Jersey-based site selector who works with large national companies, says Tesla Motors is bringing its five-billion-dollar battery plant to northern Nevada.
Nevada is one of four finalists for the plant along with Arizona, New Mexico and Texas. The winner of the Tesla sweepstakes will get billions of dollars in investment, 6,500 jobs, and a ten-million-square-foot battery factory.
