The Future Of Tule Springs

The legislation to make Tule Springs Fossil Beds a national monument had been on track until Republicans decided to amend the law in committee. They want to ensure that money from the sale of land for housing and commercial development goes back to the United States Treasury. So what kind of compromise will be needed to protect Tule Springs? And can Congress find it?

Rep. Rob Bishop, R-Utah
