Judge Voy On Mental Health System Woes

Last year, the Sacramento Bee revealed that thousands of patients from Rawson-Neal Psychiatric Hospital had been bused out of state. And the shortage of treatment beds at Rawson-Neal and other treatment centers has cause psychiatric patients to back up in emergency rooms in Southern Nevada.

The underlying problem is that there simply is not enough money being invested in mental health services, says Las Vegas District Court Judge William Voy.
