The Bible, according to scholars of early Christianity, is not the straightforward explanation of Christ's life. In fact, new discoveries and research show that there were many different gospels circulating in the first century of the Christian Church and that meant many different versions of Christ's message. In fact, one gospel even suggests that Jesus was married. So what does it all mean? And what does it tell us about Christianity? Prof. Bart Ehrman is one of three scholars on a panel at the Black Mountain Institute tonight answering whether Jesus was married. He joins us to discuss the kind of issues his work raises.
