The passage of Nevada’s Assembly Bill 67 means stricter penalties for sex traffickers, as well asnew law enforcement tools for authorities to arrest them. It also gives victims the right to sue their pimps.
But new laws are just the beginning. Activists believe an important weapon in the fight against sex trafficking is through creating greater awareness among would-be victims. A new documentary called “Trafficked No More” was produced in support of this goal.
