Las Vegas emergency rooms, especially UMC, have been overwhelmed by psychiatric patients who cannot find beds in psychiatric hospitals. The fix was to create an emergency room facility at Rawson-Neal Psychiatric Hospital. That clinic will close at the end of the day because it does not meet federal standards. What does this mean and where will the mentally ill seek treatment?
