Recent Case of Child Neglect in Foster Care System Sparks Concern

Officials with the Clark County Department of Family Services recently removed two children from foster parents in Sandy Valley. One of the children had suffered burns to large parts of his body and the other had an extensive rash. Neither had been recently seen by doctors. The family had also moved out of Las Vegas without notifying the proper authorities. The case has some observers wondering if the county is doing a good job supervising its foster parents.
