Tour Businesses Take A Hit During Shutdown

A man-made disaster -- the shutdown of the federal government -- is disrupting United States' national parks, monuments and recreational areas.

And Nevada tour companies are also taking a hit. Scott Halstead, chief financial officer for Viator.com, a business that arranges tours around the globe, calls the shutdown "unprecedented," far exceeding the impact of rail strikes, for example, in the company's European market.
