Writer Tom Barbash began working as a newspaper journalist and in 2003 wrote a book about the horrific impact of the 9/11 attacks on Cantor, Fitzgerald - one of the biggest bond-trading firms in the world. Now he's produced a collection of short stories Dave Eggers calls "a classic." Barbash will be speaking at UNLV on Thursday discussing the transition from journalist to fiction writer.
