Clark County has a poor success rate with students who cannot speak English and those students often drop out of school. The state has funded the "zoom schools" - an intensive program with additional resources to ensure that students learn English well enough to succeed in school. So how does it work? And what will it achieve? And what does it have to achieve?

Support comes from

Danielle Miller, Coordinator of Zoom Schools, Clark County School District

Tim Adams, Principal, Reynaldo Martinez Elementary School

Myriam Casimir, Bilingual Authorization Program Coordinator

Kate Sheehy, Reporter, KNPR
